My experience when creating this site has been amazing. At first navigating, creating, and understanding how to go about making content was a bit difficult. Once I got the fundamentals of it I believe that it became a lot more fluid and enjoyable when writing.
I believe a thing I can improve on within this site would be the content in which I published. I planned to get out and about and interview individuals as well as work with others on upcoming things I was working on. Due to the circumstances we were all put in that wasn’t possible, but that is what I would want to do in the future.
I could have better promoted my content by giving constant jabs and hooking more individuals in. My best experience with this semester-long project would be the voice and platform in which it gave me. I always wanted to express my feelings on something I was passionate about so through this blog I was able to do that, and it was for individuals who genuinely cared and clicked on it.
This experience can better improve my future because it gave me a new tool that I can use going forward. I also can say that I made a blog and continue posting in hopes of getting my ideas across to more individuals.
My most popular week was the week of March 23rd. During this week I was able to get 32 views and 6 visitors. My most popular post was “All Things Jean”. I believe this was the most popular post because it is relatable to everyone and the most basic essential to everyone’s wardrobe.
I think something interesting, is that consistency affected my views. The more I was posting the more people were paying attention, so keeping that consistency is key going forward.
